Diamond Tip

Located on the border between Greenville County and Laurens County, Fountain Inn is sometimes referred to as “The Diamond Tip of the Golden Strip.” It is the county’s southernmost city and also enjoys Greenville County’s lowest crime rate. Fountain Inn’s location just to the west of I-385 and on the shared border between Greenville and Laurens make it an ideal place to live with rapid access to the northern or southern Upstate. As part of the Golden Strip of towns in southern Greenville County, Fountain Inn shares in the economic growth and opportunity of the region. The city has a stated goal of both growing existing businesses as well as attracting new businesses.

Downtown Fountain Inn offers residents an exciting hub of activities and events in a delightfully walkable area with well-tended sidewalks and storefronts. Also located very close to Fountain Inn’s downtown is the Younts Center for the Performing Arts which hosts a variety of concerts and shows throughout the year.
