Welcome to Mauldin, SC!

Central Attraction

Mauldin is one of three cities in the Upstate’s “Golden Strip.” Along with Simpsonville and Fountain Inn, Mauldin is a part of this row of cities whose economies have grown and flourished over the last half-century. Located between Greenville and Simpsonville, Mauldin is central to many of upstates biggest attractions and businesses, located as it is with I-85 to the north, Highway 276 to the west, and I-385 on the east. If you’re looking for a captivating, growing community with easy access to the rest of the Upstate, then Mauldin, its exciting economy, and its three major roadways make it a great place to live and work.

Plans for the Future

While Mauldin is not the largest city in the Upstate, it is certainly one of the fastest-growing. In 2000, the population of Mauldin was just over 15,000, and that number is very close to being doubled as of early 2022.

Construction is set to commence this summer (2022) to build out Mauldin’s city center into a hub for the city’s commerce and activities. The plans include multiuse areas for dining, townhome residences, and indoor and outdoor community activity areas.

Also, plans are in place to build an 8,000 seat stadium for Greenville Triumph, the Upstate’s newest, wildly popular soccer team. The plan is for the stadium to be built as part of the brand new Bridgeway Station complex, a beautiful 40-acre multiuse community of shopping, dining, and residences. The Greenville Triumph Stadium will primarily serve Greenville Triumph, but will also be available for training camps and other athletic events.

Mauldin residents will benefit not only from the use of these new developments, but also from the significant boost that they will bring to the already strong Mauldin economy.

Established Communities

In addition to new communities, Mauldin also has many wonderful established communities for potential home-buyers to explore. Planters Row is one of the larger neighborhoods in Mauldin, and was built over the course of 23 years, from 1990-2013. Planters Row is close to many of the Mauldin Area’s job opportunities including Clemon University’s International Center for Automotive Research (ICAR), Hubbell Lighting, and TD Bank’s local administrative center. Planter’s Row also provides residents with a large community pool, tennis courts, and playground.

Another outstanding Mauldin community is Knollwood Heights. This neighborhood has gently rolling streets and most of the homes are on spacious lots shaded by mature trees. Most of the homes were built in the late 60s and early 70s, but all have been lovingly maintained. While the neighborhood itself is tranquilly tucked away, residents enjoy ready access to all that Mauldin and the Upstate have to offer. For those seeking a comfortable, quiet neighborhood with a pleasant atmosphere, look no further than Knollwood Heights.
