Located on the border between Greenville and Spartanburg counties, the city of Greer sits to the northeast of Greenville and is the home of one of the most robust city economies in the Upstate. The city is bordered on one side by Interstate 85 and the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, making it a regional transportation hub like no other. Additionally, Greer is home to the South Carolina Inland Port Greer which is a rail extension of the Port of Charleston on the SC coast.
